PD9026 Features & Benefits

Overview

PD9026 is an outdoor, waterproof and weather resistant, IP67 rated, 2 way, 50 ohm, broadband RF high-power power combiner furnished with type N female coaxial connectors. All wireless band frequencies in the range from 698 to 2700 MHz are covered with best in class RF performance. Max microwave input power levels to 100 watts can be handled in power divider splitter applications. For non-coherent signals, up to 20 watts can be handled through each port. Electrical

The heart of the unit is a precision designed and etched Wilkinson type microstrip circuit on a low loss, high frequency, dielectric substrate. The Wilkinson microstrip circuit passes DC current to all ports making it ideal for use in active systems. Electrical performance is highlighted by 0.2 dB max insertion loss (above the 3.01 dB power split), 25 dB min port-to-port isolation, 1.15 : 1 max input VSWR; 1.10 : 1 max output VSWR. Equal power split and balance is displayed by 0.1 dB max amplitude balance and 2 degrees max phase balance. Narrow band RF performance over your frequency range may be even better. Mechanical

Mechanical features include precision CNC, brass, 50 ohm N type female coaxial connectors with tri alloy plating to insure tarnish resistance and low PIM operation. Connector pins are gold plated phosphor bronze for reliability and low contact resistance. Virgin electrical grade PTFE support insulators captivate the contact pins enabling trouble free coaxial connector mating. Long term operation and superior shielding is assured by the rugged CNC machined aluminum housing with clear passivated finish. Provision for secure mounting is enabled by four .203" diameter (5.16 mm) through holes. RoHS construction includes no-lead solder and finish free of hexavalent chromium. Water and weather resistance for uninterrupted safe outdoor use is achieved through silicone o-rings sealing all components.

Physical

Exterior housing dimensions are 2.58" wide by 2.78" deep by 1.00" high (65.5 x 70.6 x 25.4 mm). N-type female (jack) connectors extend 0.65" (16.5 mm) from the housing. Operating temperature range is from -65°C to +85°C. Weight is 317 grams. Rated for continuous water and weather resistant exterior use. May also be used indoors. The PD9026, IP67 weatherproof, two way, N type female, RF power combiner divider is ideal for a broad range of outdoor wireless radio frequency microwave applications on both transmit and receive sides, ranging from amplifier sharing & receiver combining to antenna splitting, and is deployed world wide in networks encompassing Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and other technologies in the 430-470 MHz UHF band.
