PD3030 is an RF broadband, 3 way, power divider, power combiner furnished with N-type female coaxial connectors in a T-Style housing. All wireless band frequencies in the 0.698 to 2.700 GHz range are covered with optimal performance. Max microwave input power levels up to 40 watts can be handled in both power splitter and power combiner applications. See 3 way power divider input rating tables for specific details.


The heart of the unit is a precision designed and etched Wilkinson type microstrip circuit on a low loss, high frequency, dielectric substrate. The Wilkinson microstrip circuit passes DC current to all ports making it ideal for use in active systems. Power splitter dividers passing DC to select ports and blocking DC to others are also available. See options (right). A true 3 way power divider, power combiner with equal power split and balance, the PD3030's electrical performance is highlighted by 0.7 dB max insertion loss (above the 4.77 dB power split), 22 dB min isolation, 1.35:1 max input VSWR and 1.15:1 max output VSWR. Equal power split and balance is displayed by 0.3 dB max amplitude balance and 4 degrees max phase balance. Narrow band RF performance over your frequency range may be even better. The PD3030's T-Style housing allows convenient cable access to all coaxial

connector ports. Mechanical features include precision CNC, brass, type-N female coaxial connectors with tri alloy plating to insure tarnish resistance and low PIM operation. Connector pins are gold plated phosphor bronze for reliability and low contact resistance. Virgin electrical grade PTFE support insulators captivate the contact pins enabling trouble free connector mating. Long term operation and superior shielding is maintained by the rugged CNC machined aluminum housing with yellow iridite finish. Secure mounting is provided by two 0.125" dia (3.18 mm) through holes.


Housing dimensions are 1.98" wide by 2.98" deep by 0.75" high (50.3 x 75.7 x 19.1 mm). The type N female (jack) connectors extend 0.65" (16.5 mm) from the housing. Operating temperature range is from -65°C to +85°C. Weight is 217 grams. See 3 way power divider outline drawing for more information.

DC Blocking: Two DC blocking versions of this 3way RF splitter combiner available:

PD7030: DC pass 1 port, DC block 2 ports. Typically used for powering an active antenna through the DC pass port of the 3 way RF power divider splitter.

PD7032: DC block 3 ports. Typically used in combining applications to prevent passing DC to sum port or other inputs.
